Harissa Baked Halibut
Ingredients:
- 4 Halibut portions
- 2 Tbsp. harissa, add more if you like it spicy
- 4 Tbsp. mayonnaise
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 Tsp. dried oregano
- 2 Tbsp. fresh basil, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly cracked black pepper
Recipe:
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Mix together harissa, mayo, garlic, oregano, and half of the basil. Rinse and pat the halibut portions dry. Place them onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle fish with a pinch of kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Spread the mayonnaise/harissa mixture over the top of the fish and bake at 425 for 12-16 minutes. My fish was about 1 Β½" thick and took 15 minutes. If you have a meat thermometer, cook to about 135 degrees F. Remove from the oven and let the fish rest for five minutes. Top with fresh basil and enjoy!
