Intentional Gifting
The Holiday Season is upon us, and although joyful, it can sometimes become overwhelming. The magic of the season is sometimes overshadowed by the commercialization of the "perfect" gift. This year I plan to become more intentional by returning back to the joy of giving.
When I say "intentional gifting," what I mean is giving a gift that someone needs and will use instead of another pair of pants or a trinket that will gather dust. To intentionally gift, think of the memories that you have shared with the person and any new interests they have. Gifting is not about the amount of money you spend, it is about making the receiver feel loved, seen, and appreciated.
My hope for you as you gift this season, is that you turn away from the noise of the large corporations vying for your attention and turn inward to think about how to best acknowledge your loved ones.
